Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Sunday Linking

Put on your goin' to meetin' hat, cause I'm climbing out of the blog hermit cave, where I'm working on a really, really big and interesting post that will knock your socks off!

At Get Along Home, they're throwing books around.

Mrs. Rooster has most recently been talking about the Komen thing, and has a cute blog.

Adrienne conducts a high brow discussion on civility and politics.

Always on Watch gives us the right music to properly celebrate St. Patrick's Day. A refreshing break from
politics.

Quite Rightly at Bread Upon the Waters points out the scary mistrust between our fighting soldiers and Defense Department Head Leon Panetta.

Listen to this Sunday School lesson from Johnny Cash - pertinent to the prophetic Babylon we're seeing today:

Bunkerville tells us that the US and UK have agreed to release the emergency oil reserves

Carol has some news on the Kentucky Derby.

At Revolution Free Press, the official publication of Combat Veterans for Ron Paul, they're getting into the nitty gritty of the delegate fraud that occurred in Athens, GA.

At Common Cents, we have the latest on Pool-megeddon where the ADA has run wild. In the "new economy" I suppose fun things like swimming pools are to be a thing of the past.

At Conservative Pup, we have an Iranian pastor who is facing death for the Lord. The darkness doesn't like the light and "comprehendeth it not". Under my "are you going to heaven?" spot is a Prisoner Link button that will take you to the Voice of the Martyrs site where you can view more like this brave pastor along with their addresses should you wish to write them a note.

At Conservatives on Fire, we're talking about Freedom! what is it and how is it applied.

The Country Thinker says it's time to abandon the SS Republican..

Kid, at Diary of a Rightwing Pussycat, takes on the big issues -  he's found a cool toy that your kids will love, a lesson in scale.

Can you say Senator Meacham? Trestin went to his local Utah Caucus and came out running for State Senate. How to do you like that? Trestin 2012!!

Flyover Pilgrim reminds you of the miraculous.

Brian at his new and improved Frankenstein Government, has a succinct commentary on Bank of America.

Freedom by the Way talks about the audacity of one who just won the lottery, but does not give up their food stamps.

Larry Rubinoff at GoldmanSachs666, your source of all things Goldman, has his reaction to the infamous resignation letter.

At  iOwntheWorld, there is the coolest picture of a brick arch I've ever seen!

Jon Christian Rhyter has his own unique analysis of the Obama Impeachment Proceedings.

Left Coast Rebel, a site I also post upon, has some Irish history for you this weekend.

Fred Reed at Lew Rockwell tells how one's conscience is seared by those who manipulate. One could translate his experiences in the military to the business world as well. Amusing as always.

Maggie gives us the complete analysis of the restriction of free speech and protest around federal buildings..

The Mind Numbed Robot has a graphic that would solve so many problems, too bad the Empire and not the Rebellion is in charge.

Cheryl at My Tea Party Chronicle calls out RINOs and the commie appeasers within in the Republican Party. She ought to really enjoy what I'm working on this next week that is sure to connect some dots.

At Nonsensible Shoes, discussion of the lottery is hashed out.

Larry, at Political Realities informs us that the results of the Missouri Caucus will not be announced. Nothing suspicious there, just move along, everything is under control.

At Reaganite Republican, your source for all things Reagan, is featuring Irish Reagan.

Angela at Red State Eclectic has a great infographic that tells you how to react to being targeted for a drone assassination.

Brian at Six Meat Buffet has the run-down on Santorum the Sanctimonius' war on porn. Quite funny, imo.

Eddie at Something You Might Like reminds us that the US has a whole lot of debt.

Jack Hunter, the Southern Avenger and official blogger of the Ron Paul campaign, asks the question, does Rush want to cut and run in Afghanistan. Someone better warn him about the dreaded "isolationist" cootie bugs.

The Classic Liberal points out the craziness of ignorance of the Fed. Most of your conservatives by now know about it, but it is still not the #1 issue because their "mind-minders" don't harp on it all day. I'll keep saying it over and over: if you don't understand the mechanisms at work here, you're spitting against the wind.

The Other McCain has the conspiracy theory of the Left that Sarah Palin has a secret plan to capture the White House in 2012 by a brokered convention.

The Right Way has more Irish fun, with pipes and everything.

Terry at Thought and Freedom has a piece on internet censorship.

At The Tennessee Sons of Liberty, they're all about Abolishing the TSA.

Vox Day  beclowns Victor Davis Hanson, the idiot who said that Sherman burned and pillaged the South out of his righteous indignation of the oppression of blacks.

TL Davis at Washington Rebel has some bold words about injustice, oppression, and nullification.

Silverfiddle at Western Hero hosts a discussion on when civilizations collide - liberal government and Sharia Law. Not a pretty sight.

  1. Wow, another Southern Gospel fan among the bloggers. I thought I was the only one. Who's your favorite?

Thanks for including me in the links.

    1. I just couldn't choose a favorite. I like so many of the groups. You ought to watch my kids' faces as I try to sing along to a whole quartet!

    2. Many of the quartets today have very poor material. Many is the time when I wish The Cathedrals were still alive. No one could beat George Younce and Glen Payne and just about whatever lineup they had.

I really like the lineup The Kingdom Heirs have today. They are very smooth.

You try to sing along too? My wife tells me I need to decide if I am going to sing tenor or bass when I do that.

  2. I wish Sarah did have a secret plan to take the nomination. That would be neat. Thanks for the linky love! Afraid I can't join the ranks of Southern Gospel fans. I was raised on it, and I can sing along alright, but I don't love it. Johnny Cash, though, I lurve.
